Over‐Speed Enforcement and License Plate Recognisation System
With rapid increase in traffic due to economic growth in developing c o u n t r i e s , t r a f f i c problems such as over- speeding and red light signaland
lane violations have become serious social issues. Therefore, the authorities need an unattended enforcement system to
effectively control over-speed and red light signal violations. This equipment is a technical proposal on a highly technological system that meets the requirements of enforcing over speedviolation. From capturingphoto of violation, license plate recognition (optional), transmission of data and image to the center system, and automatic finding of vehicle registration(optional) then automatic issuing of fine ticket or summon sheet with a photograph of vehicle and clear photograph of plate number. This automatic system operates 24 hours a day in all adverseweather conditions.
